Abstract
Since its introduction in 1977, the number of procedures and indications for PTCA have grown. With this more frequent and broader use, new complications have been reported. This report describes the formation of a new coronary artery aneurysm at the PTCA site following dilatation. The pathogenesis of aneurysmal formation following PTCA is unknown. Keywords
