Abstract
Results of both the Short Increment Sensitivity Index (SISI) and Alternate Binaural Loudness Balance (ABLB) were available on 85 patients. The question was asked as to whether or not these tests were duplicative in showing loudness recruitment. Patients showing recruitment had positive SISI scores, and those showing no recruitment had negative SISI. It was thus concluded that these 2 tests were duplicate tests. Keywords
