Closed Branches of Conjunctival Vessels

Abstract
The normal conjunctival capillaries were examined with the slit-lamp. Some of the capillaries with pale, glass-like fibres contained no blood corpuscles. Histological examination showed that the closed twigs were filled by endothelial cells or by lymphocytes. In certain areas sphincter muscle cells were apparent shutting of the twigs.
