Abstract
A vibrational analysis has been carried out for the two crystalline forms of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVF2). The Raman spectrum of the planar form of PVF2 is also reported. The band assignments are made on the basis of the spectral properties including the infrared dichroism and Raman intensities. A force field is derived based on a force constant refinement procedure utilizing the frequency data for both crystal forms. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
