Abstract
Lecanium scales were more susceptible to dormant oil sprays than terrapin scales. At concns. toxic to terrapin scales, high paraffin oils were safer on peach at the pink bud stage than the low paraffinic-type oil tested. Injury to the trees was determined by comparing the set of fruit on trees receiving the different treatments. Oils applied as driving sprays killed a higher percentage of terrapin scales than when applied as mists. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
