A Survey of Nocturnal Vertebrates in the Kartabo Region of British Guiana

Abstract

Species representing 31 families of vertebrates (Amphibia, Reptilia, Aves, Mammalia) were found in a portion of the rain-forest area centering about Kartabo. Methods of making the survey are described and the various vertebrates observed receive comment.
