Abstract
The production of ion drag pressure under dynamic conditions, i.e., with the carrier medium in motion, is theoretically investigated. It is shown that for constant applied voltage the pressure increases with increasing velocity of the carrier fluid. This can lead to instability of the system which is theoretically discussed and experimentally demonstrated. Keywords
