Abstract
Of the 26 strains of chromogenic acid-fast bacilli isolated from tuberculous patients, 7 strains produced fatal disease in guinea pigs, 12 strains produced gross and microscopic lesions, and remaining 7 showed no evidence of pathogenicity. The lesions produced by these bacilli are tuberculoid.Keywords
