Abstract
Al in the diet had no appreciable effect on growth and reproduction in the rat. The absorption of Al seemed to be very slight. The thyroid of pigs contained 0.02-0.12 mgm. of Al per 100 gm. of tissue. There was no correlation between Al and I in normal metabolism. The injection of Al salts into the intestine of rabbits did not cause an appreciable absorption of Al into the blood-stream.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
