Crystallization and Reaggregation of Adenovirus Type 5 Structural Components from Infected Cell Extracts

Abstract
Treatment of adenovirus type 5-infected [human oral carcinoma KB] cells at late times after infection (48-72 h p.i. [post-infection]) by hypotonic buffer and subsequent manipulation of the crude extract resulted in the crystallization and reaggregation of the adenovirus type 5 fiber and hexon components.
