Staining Reactions Following Demineralization of Hard Tissues by Chelating and Other Decalcifying Agents

Abstract
With the use of a method of decalcifying teeth and bones in alkaline solns. of ethylene-diamine-tetraacetate up to pH 12, the effects of concn., pH, and temp. on histological staining reactions were compared. Comparisons were also made with 6 other decalcifying methods after using 2 different tissue fixatives.
