Abstract
We present first-principles calculations of the electron-phonon parameters which govern transport and superconductivity in Pd. Our calculated resistivity is in good agreement with experiment. The "-wave" coupling constant (or mass enhancement) is 0.41 and the "-wave" coupling constant is 0.002, making the existence of observable electron-phonon-induced "-wave" pairing in Pd very doubtful.
