Interpretation of differential reflectance studies of metal surfaces

Abstract
Formulas are derived which relate differential surface power absorption spectra for - and -polarized light to differential reflectance data, frequency by frequency. The formulas, which are exact for jellium, do not involve the use of Fresnel equations or any theoretically calculated parameters.
