Growth-promoting substance of the ant. pituitary, intraperit., decreases plasma amino acids; intraven., it raises them. None of the amino acid changes were accompanied by significant changes in blood urea N. Changes in the plasma amino acids after insulin were not accompanied by changes in cell amino acids.
