Abstract

Upon encapsulating the ligand PhNH(CH₂)₆NH(CH₂)₄NH₂, the nonadecacyclic molecular receptor cucurbituril (C₃₆H₃₆N₂₄O₁₂) exhibits a bimodal binding pattern contingent upon pH.
