Abstract
A statistical analysis of leucocyte counts of platform samples of herd milk, collected over an 11.5 month period. The geometric mean cell count for the entire period was approx. 500,000/ml. The mean cell counts varied considerably from month to month but were generally highest in the summer and lowest in the winter, while the percentage of mastitis animals within the herds were highest during the late summer months, and lowest during spring and early summer. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
