Abstract
Shikimic acid was determined in leaves, at different stages of growth, from 1- and 4-year-old specimens of Eucalyptus sieberiana F. Muell. A linear relationship was found between the shikimic acid concentration (mg./g.) and the weight of the leaf up to the point where the leaf had reached full size. As the leaves became older the shikimic acid content decreased. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
