Abstract
The new, silylphosphite compounds, (rac-O,O-binaphtholato)POSiR3 (R3 = Ph3, tBuMe2, Et3) have been synthesised by the reactions of (rac-O,O-binaphtholato)PC1 and R3SiOH. The abilities of these silylphosphite esters to act as phosphonylating agents towards benzaldehyde have been investigated.Keywords
