Abstract
Scottish Blackface sheep of the soft-coated and hard-coated types have been examined in an investigation of fleece fibres and follicle populations. Points noted included fibre types, medulla types, follicle density, the ratio of the numbers of secondary follicles to the number of primaries, shedding and pigmentation.Keywords
