Abstract
This paper presents a mathematical model of the global biogeochemical carbon cycle. Through computer simulation of this model, the effect of the projected addition of carbon dioxide into the biosphere resulting from fossil fuel combustion is noted. In particular, the added amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere ia predicted, and the concomitant increase in the atmospheric temperature due to this effect is projected. Validation of the model is discussed and u sensitivity analysis ia peformed to test its robustness. Keywords
