Abstract
The latency of the response tended to increase with conditioning and the percentage of blinks which succeeded in avoiding the puff also increased. This fact was discussed with reference to the usual assumption and evidence that latency decreased in the course of conditioning and an attempted reconciliation was made in the empirical conflict. Keywords
