Influence of Pyridoxine, Inositol, and Biotin on Susceptibility of Swiss Mice to Experimental Poliomyelitis.

Abstract
In more than 1400 mice, no striking or consistent difference in susceptibility to either Lansing strain poliomyelitis or Theiler''s encephalo-myelitis viruses was noted between animals fed diets deficient or optimum in these vits. Mice deficient in biotin seem to be more susceptible to naturally occurring Salmonella infections than are animals maintained on a diet optimum in this vit.
