Abstract
Phosphorylcholine was identified in aqueous extracts of rat liver, where it accounts for 9% of the water-soluble P. Chromatographic and hydro-lytic evidence indicates that the substance also occurs in appreciable quantities in rat testes, spleen, kidney, small intestine and brain, but only in trace amounts in heart, muscle and blood. Keywords
