Abstract
Further studies were made of material previously investigated and of some additional plants. The identity of the material studied as Triteleia hendersoni is doubtful. The existence of a variety of T. peduncularis based on pedicel length, flower color, chromosome number, and perhaps distribution is suggested. The chromosome count for an additional form of T. laxa is n=9, 2n=18. T. laxa is considered a species complex composed of forms with the somatic chromosome numbers of 18, 28, 30, 42, and 48. Further attempts to cross Dichelostemma volubilis and D. ida-maia failed. For Bloomeria crocea, a genus closely related to Brodiaea, n=9, 2n=18.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
