Abstract
The fourth‐order Feynman amplitude ceases to satisfy the Mandelstam representation when the external masses are sufficiently large. A representation which replaces the Mandelstam one is found in the cases where the four mass invariants are equal in pairs. The physical interpretation is briefly discussed. Keywords
