Intrinsic Magnetic-Field Quenching of Kondo Scattering: Observation by Electron Tunneling

Abstract
An inherent magnetic-field quenching of Kondo scattering occurs via lifetime broadening of the spin-flipped intermediate states. This effect and other intrinsic features of the exchange problem are revealed by high-field tunneling studies of magnetic scattering.
