Abstract
Chromatographic analysis of the urine of 2 hypopituitary pa-tients treated with prednisone revealed the presence of 3 steroids which by various techniques including infrared spectrography were identified as prednisone, prednisolone and [DELTA]1-4pregnadiene 3-ll-dione-17[alpha]-20[beta]- 21-triol. No tetrahydroderivatives of prednisone were found. Keywords
