Fetal Risks from Rubella during Pregnancy

Abstract
ABOUT a year ago1 readers of this column who practice obstetrics were requested to write to the editors giving certain basic data pertaining to rubella contracted during pregnancy. Subsequently, reports were made of the condition of the baby. The task was undertaken to determine the risks of death or deformity for the developing fetus. A number of physicians have responded by sending the desired information concerning 19 cases.
