Abstract
The paper describes a structural study of part of the discontinuous belt of granitic gneiss extending from Glen Tarbert (Argyll) to north of Loch Quoich (Inverness-shire). The granitic gneiss outcrops immediately west of the boundary between the ‘highly inclined’ and ‘flat’ belts of the Moines (the Loch Quoich line) which is the eastern limit of outcrop of the regional migmatite belt (‘injection belt’).
