Abstract
It is shown that the inverse Hall coefficient of noble metals alloyed with B group metals can be separated into two terms, one proportional to the residual resistivity and the other associated with the band structure and anisotropy for phonon scattering. A rigid band structure for each B metal period of alloys is indicated by the analysis. Deductions are made concerning the anisotropy of relaxation time for impurity scattering. Keywords
