Abstract
Following ingestion of 1.25 mg of digoxin, the average daily urinary excretion by 8 normal subjects was 169, 129 and 66 [mu]g of cardioactive substance for the respective 24, 48, and 72 hours. On the 4th day the urine of half the subjects contained no detectable digoxin or active metabolites. The excretion of digoxin is approximately twice as rapid as digitoxin during the first 72 hours after its administration. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
