Some Applications of Behavioral Principles to Clinical Speech Problems

Abstract

Findings of behavioral analyses which are relevant to the work of the speech clinician are discussed, and suggestions for the facilitation of their use are presented. The success of som e clinical techniques is explained in behavioral terms, and extention of these findings into other techniques is suggested. Operant conditioning must be understood if it is to be used by the speech clinician.
