Abstract
In this paper the design of state reconstruction algorithms for linear discrete-time systems is analysed. It is shown that there exist several essential differences between continuous-time and discrete-time systems with respect to state observer theory. Full-order and reduced-order state reconstructors are derived and the relationship between the different algorithms is discussed.Keywords
