Abstract
A study has been made of the reduction of triphenyltetrazolium chloride by the mitotically active and blocked embryo of the grasshopper, Melanoplus differentialis. Reduction by mitotically active embryos seems more active than by blocked ones. Present data seem to indicate non-specific reducing systems involved in the reduction of the dye. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
