EFFECTS OF TESTOSTERONE PROPIONATE ON HISTOCHEMICAL REACTIONS OF RAT SEMINAL VESICLES

Abstract
Alkaline phosphatase normally in the sub-epithelial connective tissue of the seminal vesicle decreased after castration and was restored by androgen. Glycogen was lacking but basophilia was observed in the epithelial cytoplasm. Mitotic figures increased markedly in 2 days after androgen.
