Abstract
A nonresonant microwave absorption was observed for single crystals in the low-Tcphase of the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system, and a critical field in the resonance was investigated. This field may be the lower critical field. The anisotropy of critical field was uniaxial along thec-axis, and its principal values were determined to be 26 and 36 Oe at 77 K for thec-axis and thec-plane, respectively. Further, the lower critical field at 0 K was roughly estimated. Keywords
