Progressive Systemic Sclerosis

Abstract
Fifty-two cases of scleroderma have been investigated in the Diagnostic Radiology Department. The incidence of the various systemic manifestations has been discussed. It has been found that over 50% of the patients had positive radiological changes in the colon. These are specific for scleroderma and consist of wide-necked pseudo diverti-cula in the transverse and descending colon. The pathological basis of the radiological changes is described.
