Abstract
A case of Loffler''s syndrome secondary to the oral administration of mephenesin carbamate (Tolseram) is described. Following each of 3 periods of drug administration, the patient developed fever, pulmonary infiltrations and eosinophilia. The symptoms subsided permanently when the drug was discontinued. Successive courses of Tolersam were attended by reactions of decreasing severity suggesting the possibility of desensitization. Keywords
