The application of silicon controlled rectifiers to the control of electrical machines

Abstract
A general survey of various ways in which semiconductor controlled rectifiers may be applied to the control of electric motors and generators, and the operating characteristics thereby obtained, is preceded by a brief account of the controlled rectifier itself and the basic circuits in which it is used.
