Abstract
Objective regression was observed in 11 patients who were resistant to other oncolytic chemotherapy and a beneficial result was observed in 8 additional patients. In the chosen doses hematological, gastrointestinal tract, and hepatic toxicity were seen quite frequently. Administration of widely spaced large doses seems to be more toxic and more efficacious than more frequent administration of smaller doses. The activity of mitomycin C is being compared in this paper with the activity of cyclophosphamide.
