Auto-increment circuit for a digital pulse programmer

Abstract
A circuit is described which will automatically advance the time spacings between groups of pulses of a digital pulse programmer controlling a pulse nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer. The automatically incremented spacings of the pulse groups is particularly useful in spin‐lattice relaxation time measurements in either a single‐passage analog recording of transient signal information or multiple‐passage digital (signal‐averaging) recordings. Circuitry for operation in these two modes is presented. This auto‐increment circuitry has been used in conjunction with the digital pulse programmer described by Conway and Cotts (preceding paper).
