Abstract
Sister chromatid exchange (SCE) frequency of inbred rat or nu/nu mouse bone marrow cells, following tumor grafts, were measured. Increase of SCE was observed in hosts with or without metastases, and with reduced survival rates after malignant tumor grafts. A remote control of tumoral tissue by a diffusion effect was suggested.
