Abstract
An analytical method to study the physical properties (susceptibilities, internal energy, etc.) of the spin-glass state generated by some slow cooling process from the high-temperature paramagnetic state is proposed in the framework of the mean-field theory (Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model). The integral equations that describe the state of the system near Tc and take into account all its magnetic history are derived, and the internal energy of the state generated by slow cooling in zero magnetic field is computed to high accuracy near Tc. It is slightly more than the internal energy of the equilibrium state.
