Analysis of Power Density Distribution in Microwave Ovens

Abstract
The power density distribution and the input admittance of the microwave oven are evaluated theoretically. The experimental results for the power density distribution show a good agreement with the calculated values. In a domestic microwave oven cavity over ten propagating modes and an infinite number of non-propagating modes exist, so the pattern of the power density distribution becomes very complicated. Here, calculations are performed by taking all modes into consideration.
