Melting parameters of methane and nitrogen from 0 to 10 kbar

Abstract
Fluid and solid molar volume and pressure-temperature melting data have been obtained at pressures up to 10 kbar for nitrogen and methane. These results have been combined with data from the literature to derive molar volumes of the solids at their respective triple points, and the resulting complete data sets have been represented by fitted empirical equations.Keywords
