Abstract
Form factors for composite nucleons are studied in the large-momentum-transfer limit. It is argued that multiparticle intermediate states in the dispersion relation, containing arbitrarily large numbers of particles, must be included even to begin to estimate the asymptotic behavior. In the simplest approximation, this physical idea can be implemented using the ladder approximation in the nucleon legs of the form factor. The resulting form factors behave essentially like both for spin-0 and spin-½ nucleons.
