Abstract
Ovine corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) was synthesized by solid-phase method and isolated using 2 purification steps: gel filtration and high performance liquid chromatography. The synthetic peptide is a potent stimulator of ACTH release, cAMP accumulation and release in rat adenohypophyseal cells in culture and shows highly specific binding to bovine anterior pituitary plasma membranes.Keywords
