Effect of soil moisture tension on leaf elongation in Poa caespitosa

Abstract

Silver tussock (Poa caespitosa Forst.) is one of the species associated with the semi-arid short tussock grasslands. This note reports on the effect of moisture tensions between field capacity and wilting point, on the rate of leaf elongation in this species.
