A programmable machine, designed to deliver a pelleted diet from a hopper in independent amounts to six sheep, is described. For commercial alfalfa pellets, the machine dispensed 1.57 g per second of operation over a range of 3–70 sec, with an average standard deviation of 1.71 g.
