Abstract
A new, compact, microstrip-fed printed equilateral triangular monopole with dual-frequency operation is described. Various frequency ratios, within the range 1.37–1.75, of the two operating frequencies can be obtained by varying the trapezoidal slit dimensions of the triangular patch. Omnidirectional radiation patterns of the two operating frequencies are given for the proposed antenna.Keywords
